Ik Lab

A new space for art and community

A new space for art and community.

The great-grandson of art collector Peggy Guggenheim has opened the IK LAB – a new gallery at an eco-resort in Tulum, where wave-like cement walls and undulating vine floors provide an unusual backdrop to artwork.

Through its environmentally conscious design, a bespoke circle of artists and residency program, IK LAB aspires to provide a framework for creative minds to interact with the gallery’s architecture and communities beyond. Therefore I developed a concept and conceived a sustainable program tailored for children and youth based on art and mindfulness.
